Inline Tags
A feature by Amplenote for Living Notes (see Types of Notes).
Inline Tagging is a radical feature that offers profound capabilities.
Check out Amplenote’s Guide to Inline Tagging!
Inline Tags are useful for organizing information in the middle of other notes.
To tag just one line of a note, use an Inline Tag.
To tag the entire note, use #tags
.
For example,
I can tag a loose video idea
from the middle of my journal and see just the idea when I browse the video idea note
.
If, I tag the entire journal entry with #video-idea
, I would have to search for it within the note later.
Also,
I wouldn’t tag every line of a note with Journal
, I would just add the whole note as an entry to my #journal
tag.
