It's a lot easier to "bend" the plan when it's only in the mind.

Without writing down the plans, it’s a lot easier to make excuses and bend it when it’s only living in the mind.

Emotions can charge decisions to bend the plan in favor of the emotions.

Writing down the plan has it more solidified into something that has to be more consciously bent.
(You’d have to see the plan and knowingly bend it toward the emotions rather than the emotions clouding judgment and having you forget what the plan is…)

  • Budgeting is basically “financial planning”.

  • Scheduling is basically “time planing”.

  • Dieting is basically “health planning”.

Having clear ideas for “who you are” by planning out core aspects to your life will help keep you on track to being the person you really want to become.
